Ignacio Fleta y hijos 2009
for sale

The Fleta dynasty of Barcelona hardly needs introduction. This guitar made by Gabriel Fleta, the grandson of Ignacio, who died in 1977, is a typical example of everything Fleta guitars are famous for. His waiting list is 20 years, if he still accepts any new commissions at all, and it is extremely rare to find any Fleta guitar on offer.
This guitar, spruce/Indian rosewood, like most Fleta guitars, is in a perfect playing, near-mint condition, with hardly any playing marks on the top and only a few superficial scratches from shirt buttons on the back.

Sold on behalf of its first owner, an old friend of not only Ignacio, Gabriel and Francisco, and Gabriel Jr. Fleta, but also of the late Julian Bream, Yehudi Menuhin and Narciso Yepes, of Eliot Fisk, Amalia Ramirez, Paulino Bernabe, Cecilia Bartoli, just to name a few. He is selling this guitar from his extensive collection of both historic and contemporary guitars, harpsichords, grand pianos and violins, which he now decided to sell due to his own age.
